FASHION FEUD
COLLAR PROJECT BRIEF
Pleat, gather, paint, print, embroider, embellish, knit, sculpt, manipulate, destroy... what will YOU do with your collar?
"The White Shirt" brief is often a blank canvas fashion project used as an opportunity for a young designer to experiment and show off their style and creativity.
With this in mind, the Fashion Feud team have created a unique collar design derived from the minimal, graphic style of the brand logo, with the idea that our designers & collaborators put their own unique touch to the blank canvas.
Whatever medium you feel represents your style, work and ideas; get creative! You are free to use either a single technique or a combination of techniques to embellish or manipulate the collar and you are encouraged to use something similar to the designs and/or techniques being used in your current work. The main rule is that you must use the collar we send you, as a base.
The aim is to present these collars together in a two-phase collaborative realisation project, providing students and designers with a unique opportunity to showcase their creativity and have their work exhibited.
The project is open to textile designers, fashion designers, artists, makers, creative bloggers and students & graduates from a fashion, textile or art background.
To take part, please complete the Collar Project pack application form on this page. Be sure to include a link to your portfolio or provide social media links so we can see examples of your work.
The project is open internationally but completed collars need to be returned back to us by our final PHASE 2 deadline FRIDAY 29TH JULY 2016.
